UROLOGY OPTICAL URETHROTOMES FOR UROLOGICAL PROCEDURES

Optical urethrotomy is a procedure in which a urethral stricture is incised under direct visualization endoscopically. A specialized scope called an urethrotome (Figure 18.1) is used. This instrument has a knife blade that is deployed by the surgeon, and which faces in the upward direction (1). In general, it is indicated for first time strictures as long as they are relatively short in length, and do not appear overly dense by cystoscopy. It can be utilized for recurrent small strictures after urethroplasty as well. More complex urethral strictures can be incised as well with this technique,

Features

1.Endoscope adopts imported stainless steel material

2.Endoscope adopts German optic glass, light fiber and light cone

3.Adopt the patented technology of rod optical lens, clear field of view

4.With direction index, sapphire lens cover never abrasion

5.Unique in and out flow channel, with continuous perfusion

6.Inner sheath can be used separately, less outer diameter, easy to insert

7.Doctor can conveniently control the direction through straight endoscope

8.Avoid to dilate uterus, decrease the operation time

9.Low temperature plasma sterilization can be used, the autoclavable endoscope can be chosen
